Captain’s Log: Why I’m Pausing the 2025 Blog Transfers (And What’s Coming Next)

If you’ve noticed a handful of older blogs being reposted here lately, you’re not imagining it.

I started transferring posts from my previous blog into this space so everything would live under one roof. In theory, it sounded efficient. In reality? It’s been time-consuming and creatively draining.

And I don’t want this space to feel like homework.

So I’ve decided to pause transferring the 2025 archive.

There are some deeply personal stories in there — medical journeys, business realities, chaotic cat chronicles, and plenty of “learning the hard way” moments. They’re not disappearing.

But instead of spending weeks reformatting and re-posting old content, I’d rather focus on what this blog is meant to be:

Current.
Creative.
Unfiltered.

More Star Trek deep dives.
More sci-fi thoughts and timeline chaos.
More gaming updates.
More fanfiction progress.
More “Cadet to Captain” growth.

Less archive maintenance.
More imagination.

This space is supposed to feel like exploration — not admin work.

And that’s exactly what’s coming next.
